Achieve a professional finish with these straightforward steps:
- No Pre-Press Required: Moisture removal isn't essential. Consider prepressing only if preferred.
- Align Your Design: Carefully position your transfer on the desired spot. While flat heat presses typically don't need heat-resistant tape, it's recommended for items like hats or when using an iron. For precision, utilize our DTF Alignment Ruler Set.
- Pressing: Apply medium pressure at 310°F / 155°C for 15 seconds. Ensure not to overheat, which could potentially harm your garment. Always use parchment paper or a protective sheet as a barrier.
- Cooling & Peeling: Allow the transfer to cool for at least 15-30 seconds. Once cooled, begin peeling from a corner, ensuring each part adheres. If issues arise:
- Final Touches & Washing: For added durability and to diminish shine, place parchment paper or a t-shirt layer over the design and press again for 15 seconds. For a glossy finish, use a protective sheet. For laundering, turn the garment inside out, opt for cold wash cycles, and dry on low heat or air-dry.
