Important: Use 300°F not 305°F — hoodies require a lower temperature than t-shirts to protect the fleece fabric. Pressing too hot can damage or flatten the fleece pile.

What temperature do I use for DTF transfers on hoodies?
Use 300°F (149°C) for hoodies and sweatshirts — lower than the 305°F used for t-shirts. Fleece fabric is more heat sensitive and pressing too hot can flatten or damage the pile. Always do a test press on an inconspicuous area first. Full instructions in our DTF transfer application guide.
Are DTF transfers better than embroidery for hoodies?
It depends on the design. DTF transfers are better for full-color artwork, photos, gradients, and detailed graphics — embroidery cannot reproduce these. Embroidery is better for a classic raised texture look on simple single-color logos. For most custom hoodie orders DTF is faster, cheaper, and more versatile with no setup fees and no minimums.

Yes — DTF transfers work on pullover hoodies, zip hoodies, and crewneck sweatshirts on cotton, polyester, and blended fleece. What size DTF transfer do I need for a hoodie?
