After a few washes, the 12x12" transfer becomes even softer and more breathable. The lightweight DTF technology means large prints stay comfortable - most people can't tell the difference between a DTF print and screen printing by feel, regardless of size.

While a heat press is highly recommended for the 12x12" size to ensure even pressure across the entire large surface area, you can use a household iron if necessary. Follow our iron application guide and work in overlapping sections, applying firm pressure to each area. A heat press delivers more consistent results for large transfers, but careful iron application can work if that's your only option.

For front chest placement, position the top of the 12x12" transfer about 2-3 inches below the collar on 2XL+ sizes. For full-back prints (our most popular use for this size), center horizontally and position 2-3 inches below the collar, ensuring the design doesn't extend into the hood area on hoodies.
